Bertha, you have blown me away with your hard work and determination in Phonics. You have put in an incredible effort to remember the letter sounds and you are an absolute star at applying them when spelling words like 'pit', 'sit', 'pan' and 'pin'. Keep on shining! 

Well done, Norris, for showing kindness and care towards your classmates this week. You did a fantastic job in Science, using your magnifying glass to carefully observe in the garden and draw detailed pictures of an ant carrying food and a ladybug on a leaf. Keep up the wonderful work!

Well done, Yudhish, for your excellent work in Mathematics! You created a fantastic pictograph and wrote clear facts about it. It was very impressive to see how you worked out and recorded how many more and how many less of each category there was. Keep up the awesome effort!

Ashton, well done on drawing and creating some great graphs. You neatly created pictographs which all have a title. You are able to write clear facts about the graph using some great mathematical language. Keep up the awesome work.

Rohan, you have been a caring and respectful member of our class who listens attentively and asks thoughtful questions during discussions and partner work. You have also been using new vocabulary and sentence starters in your writing to make it more engaging and interesting. Well done and keep up the good work!

Colin, you’ve made a fantastic start to Term 2. You are demonstrating great responsibility and initiative, particularly when you notice tasks that need to be done in the classroom. It has also been wonderful to see you contributing thoughtfully and meaningfully to class discussions. Keep up the excellent work!

Well done Landon for your dedicated approach in preparing yourself for the Cross Country next week. You have shown wonderful resilience, particularly with the setbacks you have encountered along the way. Good luck and enjoy the event!

Zev, what a fantastic start to Term 2! In Writing, you demonstrated great insight when exploring how advertisements persuade audiences, especially through techniques like slogans and image positioning. Keep up the awesome work Zev, you’re a 3F superstar!

Congratulations Yasaman on your persuasive cold write on 'Everyone should learn how to cook' piece. You wrote a clear opinion, varying reasons and even included a rhetorical question. Your writing was entertaining as well as persuasive. Well done Yasaman and keep up the great effort!

Congratulations Shrihari on your amazing listening skills during our Karate Incursion. You participated with fabulous enthusiam and zest. You also were very persistent when practising running around the track. You were able to pace yourself really well. Keep up the amazing effort.

Congratulations Blossom for being a kind and considerate member of our class. Your active listening during reading lessons has enabled you to produce some great thinking about the themes in Jackie French’s books and write accurate chapter summaries. Well done, Blossom!

Josh, I am so impressed with your work ethic this week. You learnt how to do short division and showed independence, after getting support from the teacher. You challenged yourself and showed great growth. Your time management has also improved. Keep up the fantastic work!
