Gearing Up for Energy Breakthrough 2026! 

The Buninyong Primary School Energy Breakthrough Team (EBT) is officially back in action for 2026, and the countdown to Maryborough is on! Our students have already been training incredibly hard, building their stamina, fitness, and teamwork skills. All this hard work is leading up to a major milestone: we are thrilled to announce that we are heading to our very first on-track training session at Haddon! This will be a fantastic opportunity for our riders to get some real experience in the trikes and put their early preparation to the test.

We Need Your Support!

We are incredibly proud of how the EBT program has expanded. This year, we are thrilled to be entering three racing teams with our sights firmly set on a top-20 finish! To sustain this growth and offer this amazing STEM and endurance opportunity to as many students as possible, we rely heavily on community support and sponsorships. Between a new bike, materials, and consumables, our funding goal for the year is around $13,000 - $15,000.

 

Specifically, we are raising funds for:

  • A Second Racing Trike: This is our primary goal for 2026, and we have a strict cut-off date of June 12th to place the order! 
  • General Consumables: Tyres, tubes, cloth tape, and corflute to keep us rolling. 
  • New Team Tents/Gazebos: Our current tents have weathered eight previous EBT events and are in desperate need of retirement.

 

2026 Sponsorship Packages Available

 If you own a local business, or know someone who does, partnering with the BPS EBT is a fantastic way to show your support while gaining great local exposure. We have packages to suit all levels of support:

 

  • Bronze ($350-$499): Decals on one racing vehicle & logo on team shirts

     

  • Silver ($500-$999): Decals on all three vehicles & assembly recognition

     

  • Gold ($1,000-$1,499): Large decals, newsletter features, and VIP Pit Experience at the main event

     

  • Platinum ($1,500+): Exclusive vehicle naming rights for the 2026 season!
