Ringwood District Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to our team of 56 athletes who represented our school with pride at the Ringwood District Track and Field Carnival on Monday 31st August, held at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track in East Burwood.
Competing against talented athletes from eight schools across our District, including Tintern Grammar, Sacred Heart, Tinternvale, Warranwood, Ringwood North, Dorset and Holy Spirit, our students demonstrated outstanding skill, determination and sports-personship throughout the day.
It was perfect weather for running and competing, quite a contrast to our House Athletics Carnival! The competition was fierce throughout the day, but our team rose to the challenge and achieved some fantastic results. We proudly placed 1st in Track events, 3rd in Field events and 2nd overall in the Aggregate, finishing just 15 points behind the winning school. What an amazing effort, Team POPS!

To every student who competed at District - well done! Reaching the District level is a huge achievement, and you should be extremely proud of yourselves. Well done to everyone who represented our school and gave their best!
Finally, a huge thank-you to our wonderful helpers: Mrs Victoria Ward, who assisted throughout the Boys Shot Put event; Mrs Rachel Cronwell, who managed the finish line for the track events; and Mrs Quah, Miss Grigg and Mr Grecea, who supported the team by directing students to their events throughout the day.
