Jeffcott take swimming title Again in 2025! - Donald High School Swimming Sports

On Friday the 7th of February the Donald High School Swimming Sports were held under perfect conditions for both swimmers and spectators. Students throughout the day were eager to put their best foot forward in the pool for their annual Inter House Swimming Sports, making for some exciting viewing. 

This year’s competition saw Jeffcott crowned victors for the third consecutive year with a total of 319 points. Banyenong finished second with 258 points and Meyer finished third with 157.5 points. On behalf of the Coats family, Damon Coats presented the shield to Jeffcott house captains Abby Griffiths and Indy Gill. 

A Huge thank you must go to all the House Captains and Vice Captains this year for their excellent organisational skills and encouragement. 

It was great to see a number of students competing in many events, including some competing in events they were not confident in. Many students competed to gain extra points for their house. The spirit and attitude of these people is to be commended. 

 The age group champions for the day were as follows:

• Junior (12,13 & 14 YRS):                             Samuel Mortlock & Evie Donnellon
• Intermediate (15&16 YRS):                       Hugo Funcke & Alyssa Hepworth
• Senior (17 & open)                                      Geordie Smith & Abby Griffiths
