Music: Auditions for Soiree to be held early term 3 ADVANCED MUSICIANS ONLY please

Year 4 will incorporate their advanced recorder skills to also play tuned percussion: Xylophones Glockenspiels and Marimbas

We will also focus on instruments or the symphony orchestra in preparation of their MSO visit which will highlight‘CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS’ BY Camille Saint Saens on Aug 28th at Hamer Hall

PE: In PE this term, students will be developing the skill acquisitions and understanding of various different Athletic skills, with proper techniques for jumps, throws and running events. 

They will also be participating in House Athletics, which will be occurring on Tuesday August 11th.

Art: In Term 3, Year 3 & 4 students will create a variety of artworks using different printing techniques. The subjects will range from living plants to the sun and water that they need to thrive.

STEAM: In STEAM this term, students will investigate the properties of materials through experimentation and testing. Students will explore concepts such as strength, flexibility, durability and stability while designing and evaluating solutions using construction materials and everyday objects.

Mandarin: In Mandarin this term, students will be learning to read and create imaginative texts. They will extend the sentences to talk about what they have and what they want in a given scenario.
