Division AFL – Congratulations!

Congratulations to all three teams who represented our school at last week’s Division AFL competition! We are incredibly proud of the way you competed throughout the day, showing outstanding sportspersonship, dedication, positivity and a genuine give-it-a-go attitude from start to finish.

A special mention to our Boys A team who fought their way through to the Grand Final. Although they narrowly missed out, it was a fantastic achievement and one the whole school should be proud of.

The weather may have been a little wet early on, but it certainly didn’t dampen our spirit or enthusiasm for the day!

A huge thank you also to our coaches Chelsea, Flynn and Jarrod for their time, encouragement and support, as well as to Brendan, Luke and Mark for volunteering to help fulfil our umpiring duties throughout the competition. Your help was greatly appreciated. Thank you also to the many supporters who were able to pop in at various times throughout the competition.  It was great to have you all there.

Good luck Evie, Milla and Jack!

On Tuesday this week, Evie, Milla and Jack will make their way to Warrnambool to compete in the Regional Cross Country.  Our three runners have done a terrific job to make it to this level and we know that they will be running their hardest in their race.  The competition at this level is particularly strong and we wish them all the very best!  Go get them!

What to bring to P.E.

Just a reminder for all students to bring with them their P.E. shoes, drink bottle (and hats in Term 1+4) to their P.E. classes.  As the weather is starting to get a little wetter, a different pair of sports shoes need to be brought (not worn) to P.E. as per the uniform policy.  This allows us to keep safe, look after our gym and make the most of our lessons together. Thanks to everyone who continues to remember these.
