Welcome back after the extra-long weekend. I hope everyone has returned refreshed and ready for a strong finish to Term 2. It has been great to see students working hard in their learning areas to complete projects and assessments while continuing to build their skills.
Over the next few weeks, we have a packed calendar, so students are encouraged to use their learning time effectively to keep up with their workload and make the most of the opportunities available to them. Please encourage your child to reach out if they need support in any area.
Country Week/Private Work Experience
Looking ahead, Country Week will take place in Week 11, providing an opportunity for students who have elected to be part of one of our representative teams.
For students considering undertaking private Work Experience during the Country Week period, it is important that this is confirmed with Mrs Raper and/or Miss Sjollema by 3:00 pm on Thursday, 18 June, to allow for planning.
You will need to provide the employer’s name, contact details, and the workplace location, and make your own arrangements for transport and insurance for this to be considered approved private work experience and a reasonable absence.
Work Experience - Term 3
Year 12 students are reminded that formal Work Experience arrangements for Term 3 must be in place, with all paperwork returned to Mrs Raper by Thursday, 11 June, at the latest. This ensures adequate time for site visits, approval processes, and necessary arrangements to be completed prior to the end of the term.
Any student who misses this deadline will forgo the opportunity to participate in Work Experience in Term 3.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Sjollema or Mrs Raper.
