Exciting News re Funding for Our Toilet Upgrade

We're thrilled to share some exciting news with the Ormond Primary community. 

Following months of advocacy by School Council and OPS staff, and the many of you who took the time to email and contact his office, Nick Staikos has publicly committed $1million in funding to fully rebuild our toilet block, if re-elected at the November state election. 

This is a huge win for our school, and a direct result of our community speaking up together. Thank you to everyone who sent an email, made a call, or raised this with Nick's office. It made a real difference.  What's next School Council also met with Tynan Putt, the Liberal candidate for Bentleigh, who spent considerable time with us on a full tour of the school and showed genuine interest in the project. We'll continue those conversations too, to make sure this commitment holds regardless of the election outcome in November.
