Winter Sleepout

The Year 11 and 12 students who were fortunate enough to attend the Kimberley Immersion over the past couple of years will participate in a Winter Sleepout to help raise money for Feed the Little Children, a Broome-based charity that provides food relief to children.

  • Date:  Friday, 1 September to Saturday, 2 September (overnight)
  • Time: 6.00pm (Friday) – 8.00am (Saturday)

The Winter Sleepout will include a guest speaker from St Vincent de Paul, activities, and a simple dinner, and will involve students sleeping outdoors on cardboard with just a sleeping bag for company.

The TC community is encouraged to sponsor the participating students by making a donation through the Online Store. Click the button below to donate. All proceeds raised will go directly to Feed the Little Children.

If you would like to contribute to this cause in another way, we’re looking for donations of cardboard which will help students sleep a little better next Friday evening. If you have clean cardboard which would be suitable to sleep on, our students will be at the Sports Centre stairs from 8.00 am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for you to drop off your contributions.

Please view our video below for more information on this worthy cause.
