Arts Week @ St Mary's

Arts Week is around the corner at St Mary's!

Please take note of the following whole school events for your calendar:

Arts Week Launch ! Monday 7 September from 3pm

Join us just before pickup to launch Arts Week and the opening of the St Mary's Arts Show 2026!

Gala Arts Afternoon ~ Wednesday 9 September 3:30–4:30pm

Come along and celebrate the creativity and talents of our community with an afternoon of art, music and community.

Families will have the opportunity to:

Explore and take a guided tour of our student Art Exhibition
Get creative with a fun art activity
Enjoy a special performance by our School Choir
Taekwondo Demonstration
Chess Master Challenge
Have a go on the Open Piano
Enjoy some light refreshments and catch up with other St Mary’s families

Any kinder siblings are invited as part of our Connect to Prep program to a special Art Activity and Guided Tour with 2027 buddies! ~ Register here!

It will be a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible creativity of our community.

Whole School Concert ~ Friday 11 September 2:45-3:30pm (Express Yourself ~ Free Dress)

We are finishing off Arts week with a whole school concert - showcasing the day's African Drumming workshops. Local artist, David Healy, will be creating a live artistic response on canvas in a perfect fusion of visual and musical art forms! Students are invited to express themselves through their fashion choices in a free dress day!

Any kinder siblings are invited as part of our Connect to Prep program to a MINI African Drumming Lesson before the concert at 2:30pm ~ Register here!

The full Arts Week program runs from 7–11 September, with the Art Exhibition open after school each day.
