Hello from Auslan

This term in Auslan students have enjoyed learning about a range of topic and participating in activities such as games, presentations, craft and colouring activities. Preps have been learning animal signs and how to describe them. They watched the signed story Feathers for Phoebe and made their own Phoebe. Year 1 students have been learning about weather and clothes. Year 3 students have been learning about locations and places in the school and community and next week will be doing a scavenger hunt around the school. Year 4 students have also been learning about weather and environment and using depicting signs to describe what is happening. While Year 5 and 6 students have been working on presentations, creating their own restaurant menu to sign and researching famous Deaf sports people. Well done to everyone for a great term in Auslan.
