Who We Are and What We Do

The SRC consists of 5-6 representatives from each of the four-year levels, who normally meet weekly to plan events and to raise issues/initiatives important to them. To ensure a wide variety of voices are heard, SRC meetings are generally kept simple and open to all students, with most decisions being reached by consensus.

Meetings are presided over by the SRC President, who delegates tasks and ensures that events and other priorities are addressed in a timely manner, whilst meeting minutes and attendance are taken by the Secretary. The Treasurer may also speak in relation to fundraisers or the overall state of the SRC finances. Beyond the weekly meeting, SRCs also contribute as a member of their respective workgroups (Communications, Philanthropy, or Respectful Relationships), each workgroup being responsible for a specific function or for planning certain events, under the direction of their relevant workgroup head(s).

What's Happening This Term?

The SRC would like to let you know about the events that are happening in Term 3.

Kindness Week is happening in Week 9, so we hope to see you participate in the many activities on offer! More information will be provided closer to the date.

Later this term, Worlds Greatest Shave will be happening. We really hope to see you participate, whether you are cutting a friend’s hair or your own hair getting cut!

Join the SRC

Being a part of the SRC is a great way to build confidence, gain leadership skills and make new connections with other likeminded students. The SRC gives students the opportunity to voice their opinions on the school and share ideas on how to make the school a better place.

Even if it is your first time trying out, there is always a place for you in the SRC, so don't be hesitant to try out for the new opportunity!
