Production Awards

On Sunday 7th December, students, families and staff attended the 2025 Youth Lyrebird Awards Ceremony at the Bunjil Theatre. This is an event that recognises artistic merit, celebrates excellence and encourages participation in non-professional performing arts.

In our first year participating in the awards, the 2025 College Production "Chicago – Teen Edition" received four nominations. We are thrilled to share that Tahana T. (Yr 12) was awarded Best Performance in a Supporting Female Role for his standout portrayal of Matron Mama Morton! What an outstanding achievement.   LHC also received a Judges Award for demonstrating inclusive casting in the production.  Congratulations to all nominees, and to the entire cast, crew, and staff involved. A fantastic accomplishment for our College community!
