Wellbeing

As a Wellbeing Team, we have enjoyed supporting students in a variety of ways this year, from one-on-one conversations to group programs and lunchtime activities to name just a few. We finished the year by inviting students to reflect on something they’re thankful for or proud of from 2025 – it was uplifting to hear so many students reflecting proudly on their hard work and expressing gratitude for their friends. We encourage families to use these prompts to start a conversation at home to help students reflect on the positives from this year.

As excited as most students are for the end of the school year, the summer holidays can be a challenging time for many different reasons. We recommend using mental health resources like Kids Helpline, eHeadspace or your family GP if you are struggling over the break. There is a comprehensive list of available supports below.

At the end of the year, Wellbeing closes to all students that they are currently supporting.  If a student requires  support in the new year, they will need a new referral to Wellbeing and a new parent consent form.  All break cards also expire at the end of the school year and are not automatically reissued in the new year.  Students are encouraged to speak with their Year Level Team or the Wellbeing Team in the new year if they require support at school. The team is currently enjoying planning for our Wellbeing Programs in 2026 and we look forward to reconnecting with students and families in the New Year.
