Intrahouse Sport

We have successfully played 9 rounds of intrahouse sport on Friday morning with the year 5 and 6 students. Student have enjoyed playing the sports of volleyball, collaboration ball, ultimate frisbee, rugby tag, teeball, basketball, european handball and four square. Our students have shown great teamwork, collaboration and respect for the game, their peers and our coaches. 

Last Friday we had the first of our 2 'mystery' rounds where we chose at random which teams would play which sport. This Friday will conclude the Intrahouse sport program for the year with our final round of 'mystery' games. This has been a fun way to finish the years intrahouse sport competition! Stay tuned in the next Pindari for the winners of the 2025 Intrahouse Cup!

Division Cricket Tournament

Congratulations to our girls cricket team who made it to the Whittlesea Division Cricket tournament on October 31. The girls had a great day of cricket despite the wet weather. They won their fixtured two games against Edgar's Creek Primary School and St Mary's Primary School showing great collaboration and team work. This resulted in the girls making the grand final against our other BDSSA team St Damian's Primary School. It was a hard game with some great cricket being played and although it was a close game unfortunately the result didn't go our way with the final scores 103-130. Well done MPH for coming runners up in the competition, this is a great achievement!

As a result from our efforts at the division tournament Mill Park Heights has scored a wild card entry into the Northern Metropolitan Region Cricket Tournament this Friday November 14. We look forward to taking our girls team to compete at such a high level! Good luck girls!!!!

Year 3 and 4 Hoop Time Tournament

Good luck to our year 3 and 4 basketball teams who have been training hard in preparation for our annual BDSSA year 3 and 4 Hoop Time Tournament. This will be held on November 21 at Mill Park Stadium. Wishing our students the best of luck as they experience one of their first interschool sport experiences at the Heights!

Upcoming sport trials

• 2026 Interschool Sport trials will take place this term for the year 4 and 5 students during PE and sport classes
• 2026 Swim team trials will be held on November 28 for selected year 2, 3, 4,5 students
