Environment Club - Rethink Waste Competition

Over the past two terms, OzGREEN has had the pleasure of working with the wonderful students from Boambee Public School and Crossmaglen Public School as part of the Rethink Waste Schools Program. Together, we’ve explored ways to reduce waste, reuse items creatively, and make a positive difference for our environment.

As part of the program, we ran the Rethink Waste Competition to gather your innovative ideas for reducing waste and keeping items out of landfill. We were blown away by the creativity, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm in many entries. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their ideas. Your contributions will help inspire others in the community to take action towards a zero-waste future.

Garden Club

Thanks Luca! The Boambee Public School Garden Club say thanks to Luca Schadel and family for their generous donation of guinea pig food for our much loved guinea pigs!

Reading Club Updates

1. Scholastic Book Club catalogues will be coming home with your child soon! Please return your orders to the school by the 12th of September. Payments can be made directly to the school or online through Scholastic Loop for your convenience. Happy reading!

2. Children in the library have been exploring the Children's Book Council of Australia annual awards and discovering the exciting shortlisted books and winners for 2025. These high-quality books, celebrated for their creativity and storytelling, will soon be available for everyone to borrow and enjoy!
