School Uniform Guidelines (Term 4)

Students are now required to wear their full summer uniform this term.

Please review the details below regarding the expectations for full school summer uniform. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring our students arrive each day wearing their uniform with pride.

  • Hair must be kept neat and tidy at all times. Any student with hair longer than collar length must keep it securely tied back.
  • A school hat is mandatory during lunchtime outdoor play. Under our ‘No Hat, No Play Policy’, students without a hat must remain seated in designated shaded areas.
  • Kindly ensure all personal items, including drink bottles and lunch boxes, are clearly labelled to help prevent items from going missing.

World Teachers' Day

On Friday 30 October, our school will celebrate World Teachers’ Day. This year’s theme is "Shine a light on teachers," which gives us a wonderful opportunity to recognize, thank, and celebrate our incredible teachers who guide, inspire, and support our students every single day.

How You Can Help Us Say Thanks

A simple thank-you means the world to the teachers! Here are a few simple ways you and your child can get involved:

  • Write a short note: Have your child draw a picture or write a quick thank-you card for their teacher.
  • Say it in person: A warm "thank you" during drop-off or pick-up makes a huge difference.
  • Posting a message: Write a message on the NESA World Teachers’ Day ‘GEMS’ Interactive Map sharing how our teachers at St. Martha's inspire, guide, help and support students and their families.

Parent Charter

We deeply value family involvement in our school community, knowing that children are more engaged in their learning and develop stronger emotional and social skills when they feel secure and supported.

To stay connected with our families, our school utilizes a range of communication channels, including school newsletters, parent memos, the Compass student information system, social media updates, direct phone calls, and emails.

An important Sydney Catholic Schools document is called the ‘Parent Charter’. The intention of this Charter is to outline the principles and expectations that underpin the relationship between parents and schools as we work together to build school communities based on our enduring values of faith, hope and love.

You are invited to review the Charter by clicking the link below.
