Acting Principal for Term 3

Mrs Kate Nancarrow will work at ASPS as the Acting Principal through till (at least) the end of Term 3. 

Kate has been a wonderful addition to the school's leadership team and we're grateful for her continued support. 

The timeline to find a suitable principal replacement has not yet been finalised but it is hoped that the new principal is appointed and ready to start at ASPS from the commencement of Term 4. 

ASPS SAKG Cookbook (Circa 2018) available for sale

We have found a few boxes of the much-loved ASPS SAKG Cook book from 2018. It contains many of the recipes still taught in our SAKG program today.

Here's your chance to purchase this school keepsake for $15 each. While stock lasts. If you would like a copy, please come to the office.

If you have already ordered a cookbook through Humanitix, please come and collect it from the office.

Celebrating 100 Years of Auburn South

To mark this special milestone, we’re inviting former students to join us for a school tour and a trip down memory lane. 

If you have any old photos or memorabilia from your time at the school, we’d love to see them and share in the memories.  Please email them to auburn.south.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Jack's letterbox is more than just decoration — it’s a symbol of connection and purposeful rememberance.

The Davey family hopes that Jack's Letterbox will become a meaningful way for students and staff to share messages of kindness, gratitude, and hope across our school.

Demolition Works

Please that the school is expecting that the works associated with the demolition of the cottage portable (building closest to the main toilet block) to be completed over the upcoming school holiday break. 

While these sort of works are often weather dependent (and could be delayed), this is an exciting first step towards the redevelopment of this entrance and space. As you can see on the details plans below, this space will, over time (pending fundraising), undergo a major transformation which will address the bottle-neck entrance challenges while making way for more natural play and garden spaces that our kids will love!
