ROSELEA BAND NEWS
Thank you to our wonderful band families for another excellent term! The students have performed phenomenally at all our events, and we still have 1 more on Thursday night with the RPS Showcase!
We can not take our feet off the pedals just yet, here are the first few events happening early next term:
Big Sunday - Sunday 27th October @ Carlingford High School from 10:45am
RPS bands have been asked to play for BIG Sunday and we will be running the BBQ to raise funds for the band as well.
Our 3 bands will be providing background entertainment for the event. There will also be activities like a giant slide, Inflatables, arts & crafts and snow cones, all for free.
Please put Sunday 27th October in your diaries. The bands will need to be there from 10.45am until about 12 noon.
We will be sending a roster closer to the event, as we will need help with transporting equipment and the running of the BBQ.
Band Information Night - Wednesday 30th October @ 6:30pm at RPS Hall
The RPS Band would like to invite all Roselea students currently in years 2-5 who are interested in joining the school band in 2025 to come along to our Band Information Night. You and your child will have the opportunity to listen to each instrument in the band, try out the instruments, and to meet some of our tutors and our Band Director, Ms Jacinta.
Hornsby North Band Festival - Sunday 3rd November 2024 @ Hornsby North Public School
ALL Bands. Full Band Uniform (including black socks and shoes).
Please add this date and the times to your diaries and let us know ASAP if there are any problems.
