Debating Snapshot

Our Year 5 students recently competed in an interesting debate against Ngarala Public School, advocating in favour of the topic 'All schools should be co-educational.'

As the affirmative team, our debaters presented thoughtful arguments on the benefits of co-educational schooling. Our team's ability to present well-researched points, supported by real-world examples, helped them to clearly demonstrate the benefits of co-education.

As a result of us winning this round, Roselea is now in a play-off for a potential place in the finals round. This week, we will debate in the negative against Epping North PS on the topic ‘Technology is making our lives worse, not better.’

Whether or not we make it into the finals, our Year 5 debaters are to be congratulated for their outstanding performances and excellent efforts over the year. They truly represented Roselea’s values in every debate that they attended.

Well done and congratulations to Chloe H, Livia H, Ava R, and Myesha Y.
