As we reach the final week of Term 3, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our students, staff, and families for your hard work, dedication, and vibrant energy throughout the term. It has been a wonderful term of learning, growth, and community. Friday is traditionally Footy Colours day but the option is there to wear the colours of your favourite sporting team or should it be preferred, casual clothes. School will finish at 1:00pm on Friday. MACSeye will be available.
MACSSIS Survey
Your voice matters to us! We invite all families to participate in the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS).
This annual survey gives you an opportunity to share your feedback on our school’s learning environment, community culture, communication, and overall student wellbeing. Your honest insights directly inform our future planning and help us continuously strengthen our school community.
Survey Details
- Access: The survey is completed online, and unique access details have been provided to each family.
- Confidentiality: All responses are anonymous and handled securely by independent researchers.
- Impact: Results are used by school leadership to identify what we are doing well and pinpoint areas to grow.

Class Placement 2027
We will begin preparing class lists for 2027 in early Term 4. This is a comprehensive process that involves staff working collaboratively to consider the best blend of students within a class to ensure academic, social and wellbeing needs have been considered.
Parents are invited to share critical information for consideration. This does not include friendship or teacher requests but it is reasonable to request that your child is not placed with siblings or cousins. Our Holy Rosary staff have experience working with students who have a range of academic, social and wellbeing needs.
The final decision for class placement rests with the Leadership Team and information provided by parents may guide a decision but may also be disregarded as we work for the best possible solution for all students. Sometimes parental requests negate requests from other parents, staff or the students themselves. Information from previous years is not considered as children grow, change and mature each year. Friendships and working relationships change too. Therefore, if you believe you have critical information, even if you have submitted this in the past, please submit it again.
Critical information for class placement should be presented by completing the GoogleForm here or by making an appointment through the office, with a Leadership Team Member by the end of this term. Please do not email this information. Late information cannot be considered and finalised classes will not be changed.
Leaving HR?
Our plans are well underway for the 2027 year! We kindly ask families to let us know if your child will not be returning to HR next year. Having this information helps us with class planning, staffing, and allows us to welcome new families into our community. Please notify the school office as soon as possible.
