Campaspe Shire Council’s Waste & Environment team has put together a short video to promote community awareness of the impacts of batteries in general waste.  Campaspe has had 5 waste truck fires over the last 18 months, likely due to lithium batteries, and have commissioned a video to show these impacts. Please watch the short clip by clicking on the below link:

Kyabram Health operates a weekend bulk-billing GP clinic located onsite at the Kyabram Hospital. The service is designed to support families across the Campaspe Shire by providing timely access to non-emergency medical care over the weekend. This initiative aims to reduce the need for families to travel significant distances or spend extended periods in busy emergency departments for conditions that can be appropriately managed in a primary care setting.

Importantly, the service is fully bulk billed, recognising the financial pressures many families are currently experiencing. To further support timely treatment, the clinic can also supply immediate-start medications prescribed by the attending GP on the day of consultation.
