Staff CPR and First Aid PL

Yesterday, all staff participated in updating their annual CPR and First Aid professional learning. The session was both engaging and informative, providing staff with valuable opportunities to refresh essential skills and reflect on emergency response practices through a new lens. Staff deepened their understanding of how to respond calmly and effectively in a range of situations, reinforcing our shared commitment to student safety and wellbeing. Thank you to all staff for their active participation and continued dedication to maintaining a safe learning environment for our school community.

Students in Years 2 to Year 6 were engaged in a rich inquiry cycle where they selected a real‑world issue or concept and investigated it using Kaplan prompts. These prompts guided students to think beyond the surface, considering multiple perspectives, ethical implications, patterns and connections.

On Tuesday, the parents/carers and community members were invited to see the children's presentations and ask questions about the problem or concept they had presented. Here are some wonderful photos of the students and visitors.

At the Padua house party, everyone enjoyed the ice blocks while the kids chose their favourite songs to play. Our leaders, Eloise and Riley, helped run the event alongside the teachers, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All of the students get super worked up about it and this term Padua got lucky and won this by demonstrating how well behaved the students can be. Everybody loves the house party because they can hang out with their friends, unwind, and enjoy the delicious ice block and lollies.
