Barwon Learning Specialist Day

On Tuesday, GMHBA Stadium hosted the Barwon Learning Specialist Day. Ocean Grove Primary School was invited to present to educators from across the region, showcasing how we effectively use learning and wellbeing data to best meet the needs of our students.
More than 140 educators attended the event, with Jake Roberts, Alyce Graham and Kerryn McKeon delivering two 20-minute workshops for middle leaders. They shared practical strategies and processes that support data-informed decision making and improve student outcomes.
The keynote speaker, Dr Nathaniel Swain, presented on the Science of Learning, while Education Improvement Leaders explored the importance of effective leadership dispositions.
We look forward to Jake, Alyce and Kerryn sharing their learning and key takeaways with staff during upcoming professional learning sessions next term.
