Term 2 Wrap Up

Being our final newsletter for the Term, I take this opportunity to recap and celebrate a Fantastic Term 2.

What a great term it has been for our students. We've seen impressive growth far and wide both in the classroom and on the sporting field. It was also a special time for our community as many of our students recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation, a wonderful milestone in their faith journey.

Whether they were achieving in academic pursuits or cheering each other on at sporting events, great effort and enthusiasm has been seen.  We have a unique community spirit as a K-11 school. Our older students do an exceptional job of stepping up as role models for our primary students, actively assisting staff, looking out for the younger children on the playground, and offering a helping hand. Activities such as buddy reading, athletics carnival, Mini Vinnies and the Infants cross country really showcased this connection. A genuine sense of community and care across the school helps everyone to Live Life to the Full.

A big shout-out goes to our staff. They have given countless hours behind the scenes to provide these extra opportunities, excursions, and extracurricular events for our students. Thank you for always going above and beyond to help our children thrive!

Semester 1 Reports

Students' hard work and achievements, along with recommendations for further improvement, will be highlighted in electronic reports accessible on Compass next week. If you wish to discuss the report further, please contact the classroom teacher to arrange a suitable meeting time. Family Conferences will be offered early in Term 3.

Jump Rope - Jump Off

Friday 26 June from 1:50 pm

Families are warmly welcomed to come along and watch students show off their jumping skills. Our classes have enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to enhance their fitness levels and master new skipping skills. Jump Rope for Heart not only encourages healthier habits with our students, but your support with fundraising assists vital heart research. Our canteen will have available healthy heart option soups available for student lunches at 11:40 through Spriggy Schools. Please note that ordering closes Wednesday evening, so get in early to avoid disappointment!

Don’t forget to wear sporty red clothes!

Athletics Events

Year 5 and 6 students will have the opportunity this Friday 26 June to complete their unfinished athletics events. Please ensure students are appropriately dressed to be active and able to participate in Athletics - they may wear sports uniform and/or red.

Year 2, 3 and 4 students will complete their events on Monday 29 June. They are to wear sports uniform on this day. Thank you to Mr Myers for his organisation of the sporting events on our calendar..
