Principal's Report 

Dear Parents and Carers,

Hopefully this King's Birthday public holiday gives you a chance to rest those weary bones after an evening of groovin' at the disco. It was so wonderful, and funny, to watch all of our fathers and fatherly figures bust a move on the dance floor with their children on Friday night. What a way to start a long weekend. A huge thank you to Stamatia Andreou and her team for putting on yet another amazing Fathering Project event - well done!

Since our last edition, the grade three and four campers have been and gone from Cave Hill Creek after another highly successful camping program. With many children having their first night away from home, and everyone their first school camp, it really is a great opportunity for them to develop their resiliency and independence skills.  This will put them in good stead for their next adventure which will be Phillip Island for next year's grade 5 and 6 students. Once again a huge thank you to Lauren Wishart for her organisation, the staff for spending time away from their families, and for our band of parent volunteers who braved a school camp to assist everyone. 

At our recent Education Expo night, one of our parents noticed the state of our art stools which had become a little worse for wear over time and took it upon himself to re-upholster every single art stool completely free of charge. This is a very generous thing to do for all the students and the refurbished stools look fantastic. 

So on behalf of the entire school community, we say a very big thank you to Michail and Sophia's dad, Dionisi PAPIAS - or as he may receive it better -

With the end of term fast approaching, please remember that school finishes for the term at 2:30pm on Friday June 26. TheirCare will be available from this time, so please make necessary arrangements accordingly.
