                        Advent begins this week. 

This week we begin the Liturgical season of Advent. Advent is a time of waiting and preparation as we wait for the coming of Jesus. Advent is a time to reflect on our faith and our relationship with God. The weekly themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love support us in contemplating the way we live our lives and interact with others and how we can share love and joyful anticipation. 

Classes are busy preparing their pray spaces with symbols of Advent, purple, candles and wreaths. 

Today we celebrated our first Advent Liturgy centred around the theme of HOPE, something we have talked about a lot this year as the Jubilee year of Pilgrims of Hope. Please ask your children what they have learnt about Advent so far.
