Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,
Next Monday is our final Transition session for our Foundation 2026 cohort when they will meet their teacher for next year. The Teddy Bears' Picnic on Tuesday was so much fun and I thank parents and or/grandparents for making the effort to get the kids there.
Advent commences this week as we all begin our preparation for our celebration of the birth of Christ. We will be holding weekly Liturgies with the students as we grow their sense of anticipation. Here are a couple of short prayers you may like to use this week:-
To prepare your heart: "Increase our strength of will for doing good that Christ may find an eager welcome at his coming".
For the world: "Help me to wait in great expectation for your great light to shine in this world, for all who are living in darkness to see the dawning of your light".
Congratulations to all our students who have been part of the instrumental program who had the chance to perform for their peers last Friday. Though I missed it I heard that you were all terrific.
Mrs Wain and Mrs Trower are still working out the exact income generated from our recent Market Day. If there are any outstanding approved invoices or receipts that were incurred please bring them to the office.
Coming up over the next week or so are:-
- The Christmas Concert- Wednesday at 6.30pm
- Advent Liturgy - Thursday at 3.10pm
- Missions of Hope- Friday during school (students only) supporting the JPC Food Van
- Lapathon raising funds for our Parish's SVDP chapter to put towards Christmas for the needy on Friday afternoon between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on the oval behind our school.
- Class Changeovers for 2026 where students gather with their new teacher (where possible) and get to know their new class on Friday between 12.10 and 1.40pm and then again at the same time on Monday 8 December.
God Bless
