Fire Education Incursion

The Foundation students were lucky to experience an incursion with our local firefighters. The firefighters taught the students important fire safety information, such as 'Crawl down low and go, go, go!' if there is a fire in a building and 'Stop, drop, cover and roll' if clothing catches fire. 

Families were asked to complete a home learning activity to discuss a safe meeting place to go to if there is a fire at home. Some students shared this with the firefighters on their second visit. A highlight was holding the hose and spraying water! 

We want to say a big thank you to all the firefighters who came to visit.
