Years 3 & 4: Explore 3D Drawing with Splat

This term, our Year 3 and Year 4 students experimented with the Splat 3D design tool to create their own detailed drawings. Using the Splat as a guide, students learnt how to add depth, perspective and structure to their sketches. 

Their final drawings were impressive, showing a strong understanding of 3D form and creative design. Some are on display on the STEAM room windows.

Year 5: Food Truck Designers

This term, our Year 5 students combined creativity, research and design skills to create their very own 3D food trucks. 

After exploring different food truck styles, students researched a suitable menu, crafted a unique logo, and planned the overall look of their truck exterior. They then used Canva to design a professional-looking menu to display next to their finished model. 

The final 3D food trucks were colourful, detailed and a great showcase of the students’ imagination and design thinking.
