The ‘Coffee Cups of Kindness’ initiative has officially commenced!! WOOHOO!
Coffee on Loddon began selling their first coffees etc. with hand decorated sleeves last Friday, August 1st. Stocks are limited, but regular drop offs will be made throughout the term. If you are lucky enough to receive a hand decorated sleeve, we hope that is brings a little happiness and extra joy to your day! :)
The charity selected by the students to be the recipients of any generous donations received (the donation jar is located at Coffee on Loddon) will be Sunshine Bendigo. Sunshine Bendigo is a community-based, volunteer group that provides practical support to families experiencing challenging times by collecting, sorting, and redistributing essential new and pre-loved baby goods and nursery equipment.
Keep an eye out in the Loddon Herald too, where our very own Emily and Hunter were photographed mid-week to help raise awareness of this community building, joy spreading initiative.
Special thanks also to Nicole and the team at Coffee on Loddon, we love how eagerly you supported our idea and made it come to fruition!
Here's some information provided by The Children's Health and Wellbeing Local around recommended times for specific ages and ways to reduce screen time.
There's also a QR code to scan and get more support and resources.
