Senior Report

Miss Langley - Senior Classroom Teacher

In Literacy, we have continued to study the text "Iron Man" by Ted Hughes. The students have learnt how to take notes, to turn their notes into sentences and how to use shorthand to write their notes even quicker. We are beginning to construct a Bump It Up Wall in our classroom. In kid friendly terms, and quote Emily, Sevi and Marley, a Bump It Up Wall is "a wall used to show how you can improve our own writing and get a personal best'.

In Mathematics, we have focused on learning about multiplication and division and how they work so seamlessly to complete one another. Our focus has been division and how to divide two digit numbers by a one digit number. A few of the older senior students have been learning how to use multiple operations at once and learn BODMAS - Brackets, Of, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction.

Hunter, Em and I were lucky enough to venture in to Red Energy Arena on Wednesday with Inglewood and St Mary's. Together the three schools formed St. Inglebridge. We had a great day playing netball in the sunshine. Below are a few action shots of the girls team.

We hope you have a fabulous week, stay safe and healthy!
