City of Casey Youth Mental Health Steering Committee
Casey Youth Services is currently seeking a group of young people aged 18-25 years to join the inaugural Youth Mental Health Steering Committee.
- Are you aged 18 – 25 years old?
- Are you passionate about youth mental health?
- Do you live, work or study in the City of Casey?
If so, The City of Casey Youth Services would love to invite you to apply for our inaugural Youth Mental Health Steering Committee!
The purpose of this committee is to lead the design of a Mental Health Roundtable Discussion event to take place in Term 3, 2026.
The aims of the event are to:
- Provide young people with a platform to voice their experiences and concerns related to mental health
- Identify and explore key factors that impact youth mental health
- Gather insights that can inform future mental health initiatives and advocacy platforms
As a member of the Youth Mental Health Steering Committee, you will:
- Lead the design and planning of the Mental Health Roundtable Discussion event
- Collaborate with like-minded peers and professionals
- Have the opportunity to undertake training and development opportunities relevant to event planning, mental health and facilitation
- Use your voice to make a real difference for young people in Casey
