House Athletics

Our House Athletics Carnival was held last Friday, 31st July. We were treated to great weather and an enjoyable day of competition, participation and House spirit.

A big thank you to everyone who helped out, both in the lead-up to the carnival and throughout the day. The support from staff, students and helpers is greatly appreciated and plays a huge part in making the day run smoothly. It was also fantastic to see such a strong turnout, with one of our best-attended and most actively participated-in Athletics Carnivals in recent years. Congratulations to all students who got involved and had a go throughout the day. The level of participation made for a great carnival, with many of our Age Group Champion results coming down to just a few points,

Congratulations to all of our Age Group Champions, and a special congratulations to Avoca, who took out the 2026 House Athletics Shield!

Looking ahead, we have another busy week of athletics coming up at Charlton Park:

• Calder Athletics – Thursday 13th August: All Foundation–Year 6 students
• NCD Athletics – Friday 14th August: Selected Year 7–12 students
