The Great RNPS Bake-Off! Let's Make Our Festival Extra Sweet!
🧁It's time to get baking! The RNPS Family Festival Bake Sale is back and we'd love your help to make this stall a sweet success! 🧁
Tomorrow afternoon your child will bring home a paper tray for you to fill with a fresh baked family favourite. If you’re able to contribute, we’d be so grateful for your donation of a homemade cake, slice, biscuits, muffins or other sweet treat.
A few handy reminders:
🍪 Please avoid fresh cream, custard or anything that needs refrigeration.
🏷️ Make sure you complete and attach the baked item label with a list of all ingredients.
📦 Seal your baked goods in the plastic bag to keep in the freshness.
When to bring in your donations:
Please drop your baked goods to the Main Office anytime on Friday 23rd October, or to the 3/4S classroom between 8 - 10am on Festival Day (see attached map).
Keen to bake more than one item? More trays (and bigger trays) are available to collect from the office.

There’s another exciting addition to this year’s RNPS Family Festival — for the first time ever, our Silent Auction is going online! 🎉
Families will be able to browse and bid on an incredible collection of items, experiences and prizes from the comfort of home — and keep an eye on those all-important bids as Festival Day approaches!
We have been incredibly fortunate to receive some fantastic donations from our school community, local businesses and supporters, with plenty of exciting items up for grabs. Thank you so much to all who donated!

RNPS Family Festival Silent Auction Art pieces
Students in each year level have collaborated to create an art piece for our RNPS Silent Auction. Each has been created with care, inspiration and a community mindset whilst exploring new skills and the art creation process. Our Art Captain Tahlia brainstormed names for each artwork, where students voted on their favourite name for their cohorts piece. 📣We Need You! Volunteer at the RNPS Family Festival
An event this big simply couldn’t happen without the wonderful support of our school community!
As our biggest fundraising event, the Festival is an incredibly important day for RNPS — but it also takes plenty of helping hands. We’re asking families to volunteer some time on the day to help out at a stall or support our BBQs. Whether you can give one shift or two, every volunteer makes a huge difference and helps ensure everyone gets plenty of time to enjoy the Festival with their own family too.
To share the load, each year level has been allocated a Festival stall to support:
- Prep: Crystal Dig
- Grade 1: Lob-a-Choc
- Grade 2: Bake Sale
- Grade 3: Glam Hall
- Grade 4: Plant Sale & Wine Lotto
- Grade 5: Mystery Bags
- Grade 6: Mastika & Fairy Floss/Popcorn
🍔🌭 BBQs – We’re All In!
Our Main BBQ and Sausage Sizzle are a whole-school effort! Families across RNPS will also have opportunities to jump in and help keep these busy Festival favourites running throughout the day.
Don’t worry about remembering where or when you’re needed just yet — when volunteer sign-ups open, everything will be clearly laid out so you can simply find your year level and choose an available time that works for you.
How do I sign up?
We’ve made volunteering as easy as possible! Families will receive a link to our online Festival Volunteer Sign Up, where you’ll be able to see the available opportunities and select a shift.
Volunteer sign-ups will go live before the beginning of Term 4, so please keep an eye on your Compass News Feed during the second week of the school holidays for the link and all the details.
A huge thank you in advance to everyone who puts their hand up. Giving even a small amount of your time helps us deliver an amazing day for our children, families and wider community — while raising important funds for our school.
