Term 4 Bookings Now Open!

Learn to Swim

Clayfield College students have first access to Term 4 bookings. Bookings are now open with priority access for Clayfield families available until Friday 21 August, before being open to the public. If you are interested in booking your child into lessons, email swimming@clayfield.qld.edu.au now to secure your child’s lesson.

A reminder that any current bookings will roll over into Term 4, so there is no need to rebook if your child is currently swimming.

Mid-Term Learn to Swim Progress Reports

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing every swimmer with a personalised, positive and rewarding swimming experience, we are introducing mid-term progress checks for all Clayfield Swimming Learn to Swim swimmers.

Regular progress reviews allow us to:

Track your child’s development across the term.
Identify the skills your child has mastered and can confidently perform.
Identify skills your child is currently developing and needs more practice with.
Provide instructors with a clear focus for each swimmer’s lessons.
Set an individualised term goal for every swimmer.
Ensure your child is progressing through the program at an appropriate pace.
Give families a clearer understanding of what their child is working towards.
Celebrate improvements and achievements, including the small steps that can make a big difference to a swimmer’s confidence.

At Clayfield Swimming, we want to ensure that every swimmer develops strong skills, confidence and water safety awareness before progressing to the next stage.

Progress cards will be available for all families next week.

Clayfield Swimming Squad Timetable

Clayfield College Croc Squad

This squad session is available for our Andrews Cup and Britton Shield swimmers, to prepare for the upcoming 2026/2027 Intra-School swimming competitions. Students can attend one or all available CC Squad Sessions on the timetable. Interested families are encouraged to contact Clayfield Swimming for further information: swimming@clayfield.qld.edu.au.

Access Reminder

Clayfield College has upgraded their secure access to the school. When accessing the pool from Bayview Terrace, please enter via the 'Let your Light Shine' walkway (Gate 6, the designated pedestrian entry point), continue through the Tuckshop Courtyard and left into the Pool Centre.

For the safety of all members of our community, we ask that families and visitors do not access the pool via the maintenance car park (Gate 5).
