Welcome Back!

Welcome back to students, staff and families. We hope everyone took a moment to rejuvenate during the holiday break and that you feel refreshed and ready to move into Term 2. 

Welcome back to our principal, Mr. Schier, who has been on an extended break, spent travelling with family overseas. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your time and it's good to have you back. We would also like to thank our stand-in principal for Term 1, Assistant Principal, Kirstie Thomson. Kirstie did an outstanding job, successfully performing her duties as principal, while continuing to undertake her existing role. A mammoth effort by any measure.

As we proceed into the cooler months we request that students update the necessary uniform items to ensure that they are attending school in full uniform. A great deal of time and effort has gone into revising our uniform options to allow students to remain warm and comfortable while still wearing their uniform. It is also an important component of every class that students are attending with the necessary items to maximise their learning. Please make sure that laptops are fully charged each evening, as there is no guarantee that the correct charger will be available should you require it. Students are also to ensure that they have the required stationery to complete class work. If students have any concerns regarding this, please see Andrea in the library.

Term 2 sees our Year 7 and Year 9 students head off to camp. Camps are great opportunities for students to step outside their comfort zone and try something different in a safe environment. It also allows new friendships to develop as they share new experiences with their peers.

Later in the term, we will welcome back the Man Cave crew and also the Big Sis team, who will work closely with students in the area of mental health and wellbeing. As you can see, we have another jam-packed term ahead and we are looking forward to all it has to offer!
