Dogs on School Premises

The behaviour of dogs when in close proximity to other dogs and small children can be unpredictable. No one can be absolutely certain how their dog might behave in an environment as dynamic as a school and the presence of dogs in this environment is potentially dangerous, no matter their size or friendliness. We must enact policy that is fair and consistent for everyone and so it is our policy that no dogs are permitted on site, including Kiss and Drop and the car park.

Exemptions to the policy are given in special circumstances; applications should be made directly to the Principal.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Are you ready to tico-taco your way to Good Shepherd? Because you’re invited to enjoy a little Rio magic at our Pop-Up Movie Night!

Bring along your picnic feast, a rug to relax on, and your favourite low chairs, bean bags or pillows - everything you need to settle in and soak up the evening. As the sun sets, we’ll press play on Rio - a colourful, music-filled adventure that’s all about friendship, love, and courage.

Where: School oval by the Outdoor Classroom

When: Tomorrow night, Friday 27th March

Time: Gates open 6.30pm | Movie begins 7.30pm (Approx. run time 1h 36m)

BYO: Picnic, picnic rug, low chairs/bean bags/pillows.

The evening is looking to be a little chilly and breezy so perhaps blankets/Oodies will be a good idea too!

For safety: Once the movie begins, no children will be allowed on the playgrounds, the gym, or the courts.

We hope you will join us for a relaxed evening together under the stars.

Blessings,

A Message From The City of Salisbury - Park Safe at School

There is so much going on around schools at drop off and pick up times and children are not easily visible and often act impulsively, which means if you are driving around a school, take special care to ensure we keep our children safe. Remember that children copy adults, so you need to encourage good road sense, watch them closely and lead by example.

When you are stopping and parking around schools knowing and following all the road rules is essential for pedestrian and road user’s safety, so please take the time to;

  • read the signs,
  • check for lines,
  • know the rules
  • to Park Safe at Schools.

Please download our brochure or click the links below to learn about the common road rules around schools that will not only keep everyone safe, they help you avoid any fines.
