🌟 JOIN THE FUN - VOLUNTEER AT THE HOLY ROSARY CANTEEN!🌟

Want to get more involved in our school community? Looking for a few laughs, new friendships, and a chance to brighten your child’s day? Then come be a part of something special — our school canteen!

The canteen is a much-loved part of the week at Holy Rosary, with around 165 lunch orders filled every week. To keep it running smoothly, we need more helping hands!

đŸ‘©â€đŸł Who can help? Mums, dads, grandparents – everyone is welcome! Even doing just one shift per term makes a big difference. You can even team up with another school parent and catch up while helping out!

💙 Why volunteer?

  • Be part of a fun, supportive volunteer crew
  • See your child during your shift – kids love it when a family member is helping
  • Meet other parents and build lasting connections
  • Help continue a much-loved service in our school community

We need 4 volunteers each week, and the roster must be filled by the week before service.

📅 How to get involved:👉 Check out the weekly posts in the HR Parents Group Facebook page for available or last-minute shifts📞 Or contact Lindy Vance directly on 0409 067 404 to nominate your available dates

Let’s keep the canteen running strong — we’d love to welcome you to the team!

HEADLICE

As a precaution and part of our commitment to student health, we ask all families to routinely check their child’s hair for head lice. Lice are common among school-aged children and are not a sign of poor hygiene. Regular checks at home help prevent the spread in classrooms.

If you discover lice or nits (eggs), please treat promptly and inform the school office. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy and comfortable for all.

For more information on detection and treatment, please read the attached flyer.
