FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION - FRIDAY 15TH AUGUST
Next Friday is the feast of Our Lady’s Assumption into heaven. We’ve all been caught unprepared at times and for Christians, one of the most important things we need to prepare for is our life in heaven. Our Lady is a perfect example of someone who committed her whole life to this. Our Foundation students are preparing the liturgy to celebrate The Feast of the Assumption, and we welcome all families to join us as we gather for this holy day of obligation in our liturgical calendar.

GRADE 6 - MACKILLOP ART EXPO
Last term the Grade 6 students studied the 2025 Sandhurst Theme – Pilgrams of Hope. They were all required to create a Spiritual Art piece that demonstrated how the theme and various spiritual concepts within scripture passages spoke to them about hope. This learning was scaffolded through a process of research and enquiry which supported students to recontextualise ‘hope’ in a way that relates to our modern world and/or their own lives. The student's work was put on display and opened for judging by our school community, during learning conversations. This real-life MacKillop Art experience was established by CES Ltd many years ago, and we were very keen to bring the MacKillop notion into our school environment so that all our Grade 6 efforts could be enjoyed by those of you within our context. It is with great pleasure that we can announce the following award recipients:
