RIPPER RUNFEST

The weather gods were smiling on us on Saturday the 18th as the school community embarked on our inaugural Ripper Runfest! It was such a wonderful show of community spirit as many families came down to run, eat and share a drink over the dulcet tones of The Rip Offs and the beats of our local legend DJ, Alec M!

Due to this amazing community, we have managed to raise a whopping $22, 270 for our junior playground! What a ‘Ripper’ effort!

Although the vibe was definitely chill, an event like this could not be pulled off without the hard work of people behind the scenes. A massive shout out to Skye, Alice, Laurel, Kath, Suzete, & Amelia who put in many hours organising. It would also be remiss of me not to mention the amazing amount of work our wonderful Business manager, Kate, put in to make the day a success. Thanks Kate 😊

Thanks to Nic for putting her paramedic skills to work, as our First Aid officer, and making sure we were all safe during the run portion of the day.

A special shout out to Bely and her team for organising the face painting and keeping everyone looking sparkly and fabulous.

Olive, Millie and their team of Year 6’s also made everyone look extra cool with their crazy hair stall that was an absolute hit!

Donut decorating was the sweet treat we all needed and thanks to Lee and her team of helpers for organising and helping with that sugar high!

We couldn’t have pulled the day off without all the people who came down and helped set up, cooked a snag, poured a drink and helped pack up. There are so many of you to name and I don’t want to miss anyone, but you know who you all are and we really thank you for all of your efforts.
