Wellbeing

Wellbeing Wednesdays
Students have continued to enjoy coming into the Wellbeing Hub at lunchtimes on Wednesdays to play games, create puppet shows, persevere at jigsaw puzzles and chill out in the Peace Pod.
We finished another rotation of our Wednesday Clubs, with students creating and learning new skills in coding, science experiments, art, maintenance, board games, Lego and reading.
Our new clubs for the second half of the term are:
Lego Masters 2.0 - individual challenges
A minute to win it challenges
New games and sports
Junky Monkeys
Erupting Volcanoes
Computer coding and 3D printing
Just Dance
Wellbeing Wednesday are a great opportunity for students to be with new friends in a multi-aged group learning together new skills. So much fun!
The Ned Show
We had a fantastic visit from The Ned Show where students were dazzled by yo-yo tricks but learning some important life lessons about resilience along the way.
It inspires kids to become champions in life and at school.
N.E.D stands for ...
N: Never give up!
E: Encourage others.
D: Do your best!
Students purchasing yo-yos afterwards funds another school to have a free show as we enjoyed another school paying it forward for us. A great afternoon!
