Deputy Principal's Update

As we conclude another busy and rewarding term, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their support and partnership throughout the semester. The winter break provides an opportunity to slow down, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy a well earned rest. Whether you are travelling, catching up with family and friends, or simply enjoying a quieter pace, I hope that the coming weeks are filled with joy, refreshment and special moments together.

As we head into the holidays, I am reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28:

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

My prayer is that this break will be a time of renewal and peace for every member of our King's community. I wish you all a safe and enjoyable winter holiday and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term.

VCE GAT

Recently, our Year 12 students completed the General Achievement Test (GAT), an important component of the VCE assessment program. Congratulations to all of our students for the mature and positive manner in which they approached the day.

Thank you to Mr Zeunert and Mr Tinetti for their organisation and preparation, which ensured the day ran smoothly. We are also grateful to our team of external test supervisors, who carried out their roles with professionalism and care. Well done to everyone involved in making the day a success.

World Cup Watch Party

What a memorable way to finish the term! Students and Staff gathered in the Auditorium for our Socceroos Watch Party on Friday as Australia took to the world stage against Paraguay. With the game ending in a draw and Australia advancing to the next round, the afternoon was a wonderful way to conclude the semester.

It was fantastic to see students and staff come together, sharing in the highs and lows of international sport and showing plenty of green and gold spirit. The atmosphere in the auditorium reflected the strong sense of community that exists at King's, and it was pleasing to see everyone enjoying the occasion together.

A special thank you to Tom Leach and Tom Rouse for their initiative and enthusiasm in organising the event. The Toms’ efforts helped create a fun and memorable experience for all involved.
