YEAR 8 INNOVATE || Today, our Year 8 Innovate students put their practical food preparation skills into action by making chicken souvlaki. From preparing fresh ingredients to assembling their meals, students demonstrated teamwork, safe food handling and confidence in the kitchen while creating a healthy meal.

YEAR 12 FINAL 50 DAYS || Today, our Year 12 students marked the exciting milestone of just 50 days remaining until the end of their secondary schooling with a fun-filled Pyjama Day and Picnic.
As they enter the final stretch of their Year 12 journey, we wish our students all the very best as they prepare for their final assessments, celebrate lifelong friendships and make the most of every moment together.

SENIOR PATHWAYS EXPLORATION DAY || Yesterday, our Year 10 students explored future study options with visits to Monash University (Clayton Campus) and Holmesglen TAFE (Moorabbin). They gained valuable insights into university and TAFE pathways, campus life and the wide range of opportunities available as they begin considering their VCE subject selections for 2027.

VCE COURSE SELECTION & EXPO EVENING || A big thank you to our Year 12 students Judah and Haeley (VCE General) and Harvey (VCE VM), who shared their VCE experiences, subject selection insights and advice on achieving their best with students and families at last night's VCE Course Selection & Expo Evening.
It was also fantastic to see our Year 9 & 10 students and their families engaged with the diverse subjects and pathways available for 2027.

VICTORIA POLICE NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING FORUM || Today, student leaders Ada L (Year 8), Finn M (Year 10) and Kevin C (Year 11) represented the college at the Victoria Police Neighbourhood Policing Forum at Sandringham Yacht Club.
Alongside students from neighbouring schools, they heard from a Victoria Police panel and explored important topics including current crime trends, crime prevention, family violence, young people, road policing, and drugs and drug-related crime.
A valuable opportunity for our students to have a voice in conversations affecting young people and our local community.

HOUSE LUNCHTIME SOCCER COMPETITION || The House Soccer Competition kicked off today, with Waratah and Beckett students taking to the Multi-Purpose Pitch at lunchtime to enjoy some friendly competition.
Congratulations to Beckett, who took out the girls' match, and Waratah, who claimed the win in the boys' match!
A big thank you to our Sports Engagement Leader, James S, for all the work he has put into getting the competition up and running. The competition will continue every Thursday at lunchtime, giving students the opportunity to compete for House pride throughout the term.
Well done to everyone who got involved today. We can't wait to see the competition continue over the coming weeks!

REGIONAL CHAMPIONS - INTERMEDIATE BOYS AFL || A HUGE congratulations to our Intermediate Boys AFL team, who took out the win at today's Round Robin and are now off to the State Championships! The team displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. Well done, team!

BIGGER BUDDY SYSTEM IN ACTION || Today, Year 7 and Year 10 students came together during GOAL to celebrate Friendship Day through our Bigger Buddy System. Students enjoyed games and created leaves for the friendship tree, recognising the importance of kindness, connection and belonging within our school community.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE || Today our student leaders came together for our second Student Leadership Conference, joined by student leaders from Black Rock Primary School and Beaumaris North Primary School.
Together, they reflected on their goals from Term 1, shared ideas and strengthened their leadership skills. Students also had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A panel discussion with our Principal, Mr Bourbon, and Business Manager, Ms MacDonald, asking questions and hearing their perspectives on leadership and making a positive impact.
It was a valuable opportunity to collaborate, build connections and continue developing as leaders across our school communities.

INTERMEDIATE GIRLS AFL || Well done to our Intermediate Girls AFL team, who proudly represented the college at yesterday's Round Robin. The girls fought hard throughout the day and came away with one win and lots of fun along the way!

YEAR 8 GIRLS NETBALL || A great day on the court for our Year 8 Girls Netball team at today’s Regional Finals, finishing with two wins from three matches. The girls should be proud of the teamwork, skill and determination they displayed throughout the competition. Congratulations on a great effort!

VCE VISUAL COMMUNICATION IN ACTION || Our Unit 1 VCE Visual Communication students have been hard at work on their Environmental Design SAC, exploring a range of materials while applying innovative thinking to bring their design ideas to life.

YEAR 10 SNOW CAMP || Our Year 10 students hit the slopes at Mt Buller today for the start of their three-day Snow Camp! From skiing and snowboarding to making the most of the fresh snowfall, it was a fantastic first day on the mountain!

YEAR 11 VM LANDSCAPING INCURSION || Today, our Year 11 VCE Vocational Major students took part in a hands-on incursion with a local landscaper, building on the practical skills they have been developing through their Term 3 community enterprise project. Students learned how to safely prepare and apply fertiliser made in our school kitchen while exploring the importance of OH&S and PPE requirements.
The incursion reinforced the knowledge and skills students are applying as they continue to produce, package and market Beauy Fertiliser to the local community, providing valuable real-world learning in sustainability, teamwork and enterprise.

YEAR 10 SNOW CAMP || Our Year 10 students are making the most of their time at Mt Buller as they continue their 3-day snow camp.
