It's University Open Days season and here's what parents need to know

Open days are an opportunity to find answers to questions and learn everything you need to know about tertiary courses before you enrol. Open Days are not just for Year 12 students - in fact, they're a fantastic experience for Years 10 and 11 students, parents and carers to explore campuses and courses.

Visiting a campus with your teen is a great opportunity to talk about where they're at and what they might like to do after high school. Here are just a few of the things you can expect to see and do during Open Days:

  • Tour the campus and facilities
  • Talk to lecturers, academics, support staff and students
  • Explore the different courses on offer
  • Learn about the admissions process and pathways
  • Participate in workshops, lectures and activities
  • Immerse yourself in clubs and campus life
  • Open Days are a great day out - enjoy and have fun!

Take a look at all the Open Days scheduled for August below and explore them with your Ada level students.
