Humanities: Exploring France

This week in Humanities, students explored the people, culture and everyday life of France. We discovered interesting facts about French landmarks, food, language and what life is like in France. Students then worked cooperatively in groups to design and build their own models of the Eiffel Tower, using materials creatively to construct a strong and stable structure. 🗼 Students enjoyed sharing their creations and talking about what they had learnt about France.

🔢 Maths: Place Value, Addition & Subtraction

This week in Maths, students revised their understanding of place value, addition and subtraction strategies through a range of engaging hands-on maths games. Students enjoyed activities including Bump, Race to 100, Bingo and Numbots, providing opportunities to practise their skills, build fluency and develop their mathematical thinking in a fun and interactive way! 🎲➕➖
