Donvale Dancers

We have finally made it! For half of term 3, Emily, Ana, Adele, Gracie and Biz from grade five have run Donvale Dancers. From dance-related games, such as musical statues and pass the beat, to learning a fun dance routine, there’s never been a dull moment! The song that we have all learnt the dance moves to is Don’t Stop Me Now, by Queen. We were so excited to perform our amazing dance at assembly! 

Please also note that next term (on Tuesdays) the seniors will have Donvale Dancers. Have a great end to the term!

Library

This week we have celebrated International Dot Day. This is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration based on the book The Dot.

Students enjoyed making their mark on dots that will form a display in our beautiful library. Keep an eye out for pictures in Snippets early next term of our student smaking their mark.

Donvale Gardeners

Our garden is thriving with herbs such as parsley, mint and coriander. Lettuces, beetroot and carrots are also growing nicely. Our fruit trees are laden with almost ripe fruit. Our student gardeners lovingly water the garden beds, and try to keep them weed free. 

If your child is interested in pottering in our garden, it is open during Monday recess.

Run Club

Our Run Club have run from Sydney to Adelaide! A distance of 1,171km!
