Term 2 Week 1 & 2

Quite a bit has happened over the holiday period, and it’s great to see such strong progress on site.

The brickwork is coming along beautifully and is really starting to showcase the quality of the build. At the same time, the frame for the main administration building is now up, marking another major milestone for the project. The large crane was back and lifted the roof sheet up and we seen the removal of some trees.

It’s exciting to see everything taking shape.

Week 8 & 9

So much has been happening over the past two weeks. The slab has now been poured for the front office building, marking an exciting milestone in the project. Scaffolding is also going up, and it’s great to see the progress taking shape. There has been plenty of activity on site as the builders continue moving the project forward.

The back Learning Centre is also coming along in leaps and bounds, with windows and doors now being installed. It’s exciting to see the building really starting to take shape as more features are added each week.

Week 6 & 7

Our building crews have been hard at work preparing the area out the front of the school for the next concrete slab. There has been plenty of activity on site as the team continues to make steady progress with the project.

It’s exciting to see the next stage taking shape, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the work continues.

Week 4 & 5

The past two week has been full of progress in the back learning centre. The internal walls are coming together nicely, and wrapping has already been installed.

Monday, week 5 was especially exciting, with a massive crane on site to lift the roof sheeting over the buildings and into place.

Week 3

Lots has been happening over the holiday break and throughout the first three weeks of school. Our building project is making great progress, with the builders now installing the internal frames for the classrooms in the back learning centre. It’s exciting to see the spaces starting to take shape and imagine the learning that will soon take place inside them.

The slab has also been poured for the new office building, marking another important milestone. With each step forward, we are getting closer to seeing the finished result, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the work continues.

Term 4 - Week 10 & 11

The full frame is up for the classrooms.

The shape of the new office buildings is starting to take form, and we can’t wait until 2026 to see the progress made over the holiday period.

Term 4 - Week 8 & 9

This week marked an exciting milestone, with a crane onsite to install the frame for the new classrooms at the back of the school. It’s great to see the build progressing, and the design is looking fantastic

Term 4 - Week 6 & 7

Although it looks like slow works at them moment, there is lots happening in the ground.

Term 4 - Week 5 & 6

Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen significant progress on site, with the playgrounds and rotunda now removed to make way for the next stage of construction. Work has also begun on installing new underground services in preparation for the new front office building. Exciting developments are well underway as our school continues to grow.

Term 4 - Week 4

The big excavator is back on site!

While it’s a little sad to see the old buildings — and all the memories they hold — coming down, it’s also an exciting step forward in our redevelopment. Demolition has begun on the west end of Building A, with the former Year 3/4 and AUSLAN classrooms, along with the Junior toilets, expected to be cleared by the end of the week.

The concrete has been poured for our new Classroom Learning Centre — we can’t wait to see the next stage take shape!

Term 4 - Week 3

It’s been a big week on site with the demolition crew back in action!

The roof of the shade shed has come off and the beams have been cut, ready for crushing.

Inside the west end of building A — the old Year 3/4 and AUSLAN classrooms — a new wall has gone up, and a pathway has been prepared ready for the excavator to roll in and begin the tear-down.

Term 4 - Week Two

Exciting progress on the building site — the building works are moving full steam ahead! With the plastic laid, we’re now ready for the next big step: pouring the concrete.

Term 4 - Week One

Building works continued throughout the holidays, with underground services being installed in preparation for the next stage of construction.

Week 8

In Week 8, we took possession of the new relocatable classrooms. Students from 3/4K and 3/4W were very excited to move in and begin their learning in the fresh new space.

Across from the relocatable classrooms, the new building pads are taking shape. It’s exciting to see how the plans are coming together and how the new spaces will fit within our school.

Week 7

This is an exciting week for our 3/4 classes, as their new relocatable classrooms have arrived. After weeks of waiting, the buildings were installed and in place within just a few hours.

Week 6

Monday 25th August the walk way attaching the builds was removed. Along with all cladding that was on the walls.

The Hands on Learning building has be completly cleared away and the roof of the science room has been removed

Week 5

This week we’ve seen some exciting progress with the building works around the school. All the preparation from the electricians, security teams, plumbers, and builders is now starting to show results.

Work has also begun on the back oval for the new relocatable classrooms, which will be arriving on Monday. Plumbers and electricians have been busy digging trenches to supply services to the new buildings.

On Thursday 21st, the Hands on Learning portable was demolished. Students enjoyed watching the excavator at work—it didn’t take long before the building came down!

The demolition crew has also been busy inside Building B which is the Art, Science, and Staffroom areas. On Thursday, we saw some of the roof removed as part of the process.
