Year 7 2027 Enrolments

In Victoria, every child has the right to attend their designated neighbourhood government school. Schools will consider all applications in line with the department's Placement Policy and offer enrolment if there are available places.

If your student attends Grade 6 in 2026 at a non-government primary school (Catholic or independent) or is home schooled, please complete and return the application form for Year 7 2027 at Ballarat High School via Year-6-7-Placement-information-pack-for-parents-carers.pdf by Friday 8th May 2026.

If your student attends Grade 6 in 2026 at a government primary school you will receive the application form for Year 7 2027 directly from your primary school. This form should be returned to your primary school by Friday 8th May 2026. Your primary school can also help with any questions about the Year 7 placement process.
