Sports Update

St Lukes Cross Country

The final week of Term 1 saw our annual Cross Country event take place on a beautiful morning. It was fantastic to see so many members of our school community in attendance, cheering on and supporting students as they challenged themselves and gave their very best effort across the course.

We congratulate all participants on their determination and resilience. Below are the top three place-getters from each year level.

Interschool Cross Country

On Wednesday, 34 students travelled to Princess Park to compete in the Interschool Cross Country. Each student demonstrated outstanding effort in their own event, while also showing great sportsmanship by encouraging and supporting their peers throughout the day.

Our overall results were extremely pleasing and a true reflection of the commitment and effort shown by all runners. In the Red Group events, several students achieved top 10 finishes in their respective age groups. In the Blue Group, 12 students have progressed through to the next stage (pending official confirmation).

Below are the Blue Group results of students who will represent St Luke’s at the Division Cross Country.
